There are no charges for rejected articles, submission fees, or surcharges based on the length of an article, figures, or supplementary data. If a paper is accepted for publication, national authors are required to pay an article publication fee of $40.00 to cover publication costs, and international authors are required to pay an article publication fee of $100.00 to cover publication costs, ensuring the review, editorial decision, and author notification occur within 4 to 8 weeks. All these fees will cover the administrative, editorial, and viewer costs.

At RIJSSR, we are committed to promoting inclusive academic research by reducing financial barriers for authors worldwide. To support this mission, we offer waivers and discounts on publication fees for eligible authors under specific conditions.
Eligibility for Waivers and Discounts
- Full Waiver may be granted to:
- Authors from low-income or lower-middle-income countries (as classified by the World Bank).
- Authors experiencing financial hardship, supported by valid documentation.
- Students and early-career researchers without institutional support.
- Partial discounts (up to 50%) may be offered to:
- Graduate and doctoral students.
- Researchers submitting multiple papers in a calendar year.
- Authors are invited to submit for special issues or thematic collections.
- Collaborators from partner institutions.
Application Procedure
- Authors must request a waiver or discount at the time of manuscript submission by sending an email to the editorial office at editor@ijss-rahbar.com.
- The request must include:
- The manuscript title.
- The author’s full name and affiliation.
- A brief explanation of the financial circumstances or eligibility.
- Relevant supporting documents, if applicable.
Note:
Requests submitted after acceptance or during the final publication stage may not be considered.
Important Considerations
- The granting of a waiver or discount is at the sole discretion of the Editorial Board.
- Waiver or discount decisions are made independently of editorial and peer-review decisions.
- A waiver or discount does not guarantee manuscript acceptance.
