The Rahbar International Journal of Social Sciences Research (RIJSSR) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access online academic research journal. It is published semiannually and aims to provide an educational forum for discussing issues of significant public interest worldwide.
Key Policies:
- Peer Review Policy:
- Upon submission, the corresponding author receives an acknowledgment email.
- An initial evaluation determines if the submission meets RIJSSR standards and falls within the journal's scope.
- If the paper passes the initial evaluation, it undergoes peer review by at least two experts in the field, with reviewers asked to complete the process within two weeks.
- Contributions are evaluated based on:
- Contribution to existing knowledge
- Organization and readability
- Soundness of methodology
- Evidence supporting conclusions
- Adequacy of literature review
- Decisions after review include: Accept Submission; Revisions Required; Resubmit for Review; Decline Submission.
- Paper Selection and Publication Process:
- Manuscripts should be written in English and submitted online or via email.
- Upon receipt, the system sends an acknowledgment to the corresponding author.
- The peer review process may take 4–10 weeks.
- Each published paper will be assigned a DOI® number very soon, which appears beneath the author's affiliation in the published paper and will be indexed very soon with various platforms.
- Open Access Policy:
- The journal provides immediate open access to its content, supporting a greater global exchange of knowledge.
- All articles are open-access and distributed under the terms and conditions of the Creative Commons Attribution license.

Author Guideline
Rahbar International Journal of Social Sciences Research (RIJSSR) provides detailed author guidelines to assist contributors in preparing their manuscripts for submission. Adhering to these guidelines ensures a smooth review and publication process.
Manuscript Types and Lengths
- Research Articles: Original reports that advance understanding in a specific field. Typically ranges from 2,000 to 20,000 words, including references and captions.
- Reviews: Summaries of significant advancements, usually around 3,500 words with no more than 50 references.
Manuscript Structure:
- Title: Should be concise and informative, and avoid abbreviations or punctuation.
- Abstract: A structured summary (up to 300 words) outlining the purpose, methods, and key findings.
- Keywords: Up to five relevant terms.
- Main Text: Organized into sections such as Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion, with clear subheadings.
- References: Numbered sequentially as they appear in the text.
- Tables and Figures: embedded within the text at appropriate points, each with a title and, if necessary, footnotes.
Formatting Requirements:
- File Format: Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format.
- Text Formatting: Single-spaced, 11-point Times New Roman font.
- Figures and tables: placed within the text at relevant points, not at the end.
Submission Process:
Manuscripts must be submitted online or via email as an attached file to the relevant email address of the IJSSRR. Authors are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the format, style, and content of previously published work in the journal.
Ethical Considerations:
Authors should ensure their work is original, not previously published, and not under consideration elsewhere. Compliance with ethical standards for human and animal research is mandatory. Plagiarism Policy

Purpose
The integrity of academic publishing depends on the originality of submitted works. Rahbar International Journal of Social Sciences Research (RIJSSR) is committed to promoting the highest standards of ethical research and publication. Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated.
Definition of Plagiarism
Plagiarism is the practice of taking someone else's work or ideas and presenting them as one's own, without proper acknowledgment. It includes, but is not limited to,
- Copying text, figures, tables, or data from other sources without proper citation.
- Paraphrasing substantial portions of another work without acknowledgment.
- Self-plagiarism: reusing one's own previously published material without appropriate citation or permission.
Plagiarism Detection
All manuscripts submitted to Rahbar International Journal of Social Sciences Research (RIJSSR)
are checked for plagiarism using plagiarism detection tools (e.g., Turnitin).
- Acceptable Similarity Index:
- Overall similarity should not exceed 20%.
- Single-source similarity should not exceed 5%.
- Bibliographies, references, and commonly accepted phrases are not considered for plagiarism checks.
Handling Cases of Plagiarism
- Before Publication:
- If plagiarism is detected, the manuscript will be immediately rejected.
- Authors will be informed and given a chance to explain or revise, depending on severity.
- After Publication:
- If plagiarism is detected post-publication, the article will be retracted.
- An official retraction notice will be published.
- Institutions of the authors may be notified.
Responsibilities of Authors
Authors must:
- Submit original work and properly cite sources of information and inspiration.
- Avoid self-plagiarism and redundant publication.
- Acknowledge all contributors and funding sources accurately.
Responsibilities of the Editorial Board
The editorial board will:
- Use reliable plagiarism detection software.
- Investigate all cases of suspected plagiarism promptly and confidentially.
- Act in accordance with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines when handling misconduct.
Penalties
Depending on the extent of plagiarism, penalties may include:
- Immediate rejection of the manuscript.
- A ban on future submissions for a specific period (e.g., one to two years).
- Notification to affiliated institutions or organizations.
Publication Fee
There are no charges for rejected articles, submission fees, or surcharges based on the length of an article, figures, or supplementary data. If a paper is accepted for publication, national authors are required to pay an article publication fee of $40.00 to cover publication costs, and international authors are required to pay an article publication fee of $100.00 to cover publication costs, ensuring the review, editorial decision, and author notification occur within 4 to 8 weeks. All these fees will cover the administrative, editorial, and viewer costs.
